This page is about our meetings and visits
Meetings are held monthly during the Autumn, Winter and Spring months on the third Thursday of the month. They normally take place in Ashdon Village Hall starting at 7.45 p.m. for Questions and Answers on gardening topics and plant identification This session is followed by a speaker at 8.00 p.m. The topics are very varied as can be seen by the programme below for 2011/2012. Coffee and tea is served towards the end of the meeting. We also hold plant bring and buy sales at meetings during the season. The A.G.M. is held in May each year when reports are given and a committee is elected or reselected.
We look forward to seeing all our members at our meetings. Non-members are welcome to come along for the evening for a nominal charge of £2. There is occasionally an extra charge for a special meeting such as the February 2009 meeting when Christine Walkden held her talk. Please remember that you don't have to be a knowledgeable gardener to join the Club or come to the meetings.
