Ashdon Village 2011 Plant Sale

The 2011 Plant sale took place on 7th May outside the Village Hall in rather damp conditions. This did not halt the intrepid purchasers who turned out in force to make it the most successful plant sale ever.

Thanks to all those who turned out to help and support us, enabling the Gardening Club to make a profit of around £380. the profits go towards funding trips and bringing in speakers for our meetings.

Sue Taylor, a member of the Gardening Club, took the following photographs for which we are grateful. We hope that the selection of plants will encourage even more people to come along next year and contribute unwanted seedlings and plants and purchase others. There are some fantastic bargains to be had.
